Welcome to Texana Ranch Quarter Horses! We breed and raise foundation quarter horses in Chillicothe, TX.
Our goal is to produce top notch performance horses with plenty of substance and great minds. We have been raising quarter horses in northwest Texas for 20 years. Some bloodlines of the horses we raise are Driftwood, Joe Hancock, Red Man, Old Sorrel, Cutter Bill, Freckles Playboy, Sugar Bars, and Peponita. Many of the horses we raise go back four or five generations back to other horses that we have owned.
Each of our foals is raised turned out with limited handling until weaning. We believe that it gives the foal the opportunity to learn as much as he or she can to be able to survive in a pasture setting as well as learn how to cover all types of ground and terrain.
